What to buy for baby’s 1st birthday.

August 31, 2017August 31, 2017Leave a comment

First birthdays tend to come along in groups, thanks to many us staying friends with our NCT group. As a parent who went through this stage relatively recently, I have a few thoughts on what presents to buy, if you'd rather not buy a toy. It's also a chance to give a shout-out to some … Continue reading What to buy for baby’s 1st birthday.

A child’s take on diversity

Happy valentines day everyone. Currently I have a bad chest infection and a sick toddler who has an awful cough ๐Ÿค’๐Ÿ˜ข So when the husband made me a cup of tea and brought up some porridge for us this morning, I knew I'd love him forever. #itsthelittlethingsinlife #hesakeeper #mumdown #toddlerdown

Writing space, when it snowed I worked from here. It's also been a useful space to wrap Christmas presents. Writing gives me a bit of headspace. It may look just like a desk but it means a lot. Also how good does the @marthabrookldn desk calendar look? #desk #workspaceinspo #headspaceday โœ’๏ธ

I finished a book! Probably the first one since Luke was born and wasn't about sleep training ๐Ÿคฃ. I really enjoyed this book, it's a very honest account of what happens to your family life when your partner enters politics. I could relate when Michelle wrote about being in a well paid corporate job but feeling unfulfilled. She was very lucky to have some amazing female mentors around her and doesn't back away from admitting her mistakes. #becoming #bookreviews #reading ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ“š
